At Mome Studios, we offer a no-cost, supportive, and hands-on experience that builds on your foundational understanding of Pilates through practice teaching, class observation, self-inquiry, and professional development. This program is offered as an investment in the future of our teaching community—we believe in nurturing talent and reducing financial barriers to high-quality training.
This program is led by our Lead Pilates Teacher and Studio Manager, Rachel Hall, who brings years of experience, creative sequencing, and a deep understanding of functional movement and anatomy.
We are currently accepting applications for our Summer/Fall Cohort! Apply by June 1st to be considered:
Program Overview
Length: 4–6 months
Time Commitment: ~6–10 hours/week
Compensation: $20/hour for approved teaching hours
The Mome Studios Apprenticeship is offered at no cost to participants. Apprentices are paid for teaching time and receive personalized mentorship, training, and ongoing support throughout the program. Mome Studios only accepts two (2) apprentice candidates per cycle. We take our applications very seriously, we ask that you place the same importance on your materials if you decide to apply for consideration.
Core Requirements
Teach two (2) classes/week – Lead Pilates Teacher and at least one or two Mome Studios teachers will take this class. As you progress in your training, we will open this up for other Mome students to attend at a reduced drop in rate on MindBody. Includes real-time feedback and post-class reflections from your mentor and peers to help you grow in your teaching presence, cueing, and sequencing.
Observe two (2) classes/week (minimum) – Stay connected to your own practice and the Mome community. Gain insights by watching experienced instructors in action. Use observation forms to reflect on class flow, cueing, modifications, and client engagement. You’ll also receive one (1) free class per week, with additional classes offered at a discounted rate of $15/class to support your continued education and personal practice affordably.
Teaching training practice – Both students in the apprenticeship program will meet up to teach each other a class and use this time for practice hours (1) class/week (minimum)
Attend one (1) private session/week – Led by Rachel Hall and/or another apprenticeship-approved teacher. These collaborative sessions will focus on technique, teaching strategies, and movement theory. Sessions will be shared with all active apprentices and are an opportunity for hands-on learning in a safe, encouraging environment.
Attend weekly 1:1 with the Lead Teacher – This one-on-one time with Rachel will give you the chance to ask questions, get individualized feedback, and set goals that reflect your growth as a teacher.

These components are included at no cost, enriching your apprenticeship experience and providing the depth of training typically associated with paid teacher training programs:
